Science in Vedas
It is only Vedic Dharma where religion and science go in hand to hand. But for some people who have an air of scholarly ostentation the idea of sciences in the Vedas seems an absurdity. They plead that the Vedas are simply the scriptures of religious sacraments and rituals. There are some extremists who go one step further and declare that the Vedas are the antiquated documents of galimatias of the Indian Rshi’s which took place in different time. To them it is not merely waste of time and energy hut a great absurdity to try to find out sciences in the Vedas.
But truth is quite reverse. The Vedas contain in them the germs of all true sciences. Blames should not be directed against the pole if the blind man does not see it. Blames directly go to the men. It is the fault of the man who does not understand the Vedas. Vedas should not be blamed. One who has profound knowledge to grasp the meanings enclothed in the Vedic hymns is alone worthy of praise. It is only he who can search the treasure of knowledge lying concealed in the Vedas.

Vedic Concepts of GOD
We are always with GOD and still we speak of realization of God, an approach to Him, to be one with Him, to be in his presence , to see Him, to know Him, To love Him, to listen to Him, to serve Him and so on and so forth.
Whilst we care of so many worldly powers, we ignore the ONE who deserve our homage, reverence and respect. We thank everyone but the ONE who has given us the most.
While the belief in a Supreme Power is almost universal, its concept, blurred as it is by the fog of wrong notions, varies from man to man. These descriptions often conflict with each other. Never was the need greater than today to make the people conscious of the real nature of God.
The author, Swami Vidyananda Saraswati, has endeavored to present an image of God which is consistent with the scriptures and the vision of the seers The book embodies, within a short compass, a systematic and comprehensive discussion on the subject with special reference to the Vedas which have a universal appeal for the people of all countries and all times. It makes an interesting reading. Those who dig deeper will find in it a satisfaction of their spiritual aspirations.
